Fancy something luxurious for Christmas or New Year’s dinner? Why not offer your guests some festive gluten-free canapés using Fria’s Christmas Loaf topped with smoked salmon and lemon. The recipe makes 12 gluten-free canapés – perfect as an appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of Fria Christmas Loaf
  • 12 small slices of smoked salmon, about 150 g
  • 100 g of natural cream cheese
  • Garnish:
  • 1 small piece of horseradish
  • a few sprigs of dill
  • 1 lemon

HOW TO MAKE IT

  • Shape the salmon slices into roses by rolling them up.

  • Fill a piping bag with the cream cheese.

  • Cut out small, round pieces of gluten-free Christmas Loaf using a small glass or cutter.

  • Pipe the cream cheese onto the gluten-free Christmas Loaf. Add a salmon rose.

  • Grate the horseradish and lemon peel over the top.
