WHAT MANY PEOPLE MISS
Coeliac disease is a complex disease that can manifest itself anywhere throughout the entire body. Far from everyone has gastrointestinal symptoms, which are generally seen as the most common indicators. Lactose intolerance is one symptom of untreated coeliac disease that can be easily missed.
IN CHILDREN

IN ADULTS
In older children and adults, it is common for the signs to be both long term and non-specific. Adults may also experience gastrointestinal problems as well as things like depression.
